Silipos Molding Distal Roll-On is a distinct gel product because it has various prosthetic applications and functional benefits. The Silipos Gel Roll-On is primarily used by lower extremity amputees seeking to improve their loose socket fit or reduce their residual limb’s exposure to friction, shear stress and throbbing sensations. The Silipos Gel Roll-On uses Silipos' proprietary mineral oil gel that moisturizes and conditions the skin while providing extra cushion. The Gel Roll-On can work together with most prosthetic liners and is easily trimmed with a scissors. After washing, this product will adhere to any other Silipos Gel products such as Silipos liners, Silosheaths and Silipos Gel Body Discs. Feel free to use the Molding Distal Roll-On on its own or in sync with other amputee supplies. Many amputees will trim a 2 inch section off the Silipos Distal Roll-On and use this section under the top edge of a prosthetic suspension sleeve to reduce shear stress. This product works great with a Silosheath for added gel protection.

ChatMedical grade mineral oil gel
Silipos recommends that the Molding Distal Gel Roll-On be hand washed with mild, unscented soap and thoroughly rinsed after each use. No bleach. After Washing, pat excess water off with a towel and let dry completely before using again.
Do Not wear the Silipos Distal Roll-On for more than 20 hours daily. Do not place this product over open wounds, abraded or broken skin. Discontinue use immediately if product causes discomfort, poor circulation, and/or change in skin color or texture occurs. Contact your doctor or prosthetist promptly.
