Measure the circumference around the middle of your knee cap and 2 inches up from the bottom of your residual limb. The bottom circumference is the most difficult to measure because it may feel as if the tape measure is sliding off your limb. Continue to STEP 2: Length
STEP 2: Length
Selecting the correct length is critical. If you wear a prosthetic liner, ensure that it extends 2-3 inches past your Liner-Liner sock. Otherwise you may experience suspension issues. Continue to STEP 3: Find your size
STEP 3: Find your size
Take both your top, bottom, and length measurements and use the chart to determine your size. If you're in-between sizes, we suggest remeasuring again to be on safe side. Most below-knee amputees fit a size regular.

When taking body measurements, you need to use the correct type of tape measure. You will want to use a soft cloth or flexible plastic tape measure, similar to what a seamstress uses. Do not use a metal measuring tape, used in construction (your measurements will be inaccurate). Please don't guess, if you still have your sock packaging you can refer to the packaging size tab. Pay special attention not to pull your measuring tape too tight. Doing so will produce a measurement that is too small.
The most difficult measurement is the bottom measurement. Too often, people measure too high along the bottom of their limbs producing a larger "Bottom" measurement. Ideally, measure 2 inches up from the bottom of your limb and use a pen to mark this level on your limb. Once you know exactly where to measure, use a tape measure to carefully measure your bottom circumference.
Stay Comfortable and Confident: The Ultimate Sweat Control Bundle for Amputees
Excess sweat can make wearing a prosthesis uncomfortable, leading to irritation, slipping, and skin discomfort. Our Ultimate Sweat Control Bundle is designed to keep you dry, comfortable, and confident throughout the day. This carefully curated set includes four essential products that work together to manage moisture, prevent chafing, and protect your skin.
The Alps Antiperspirant Spray is specially formulated for amputees to reduce excessive sweating, helping to keep your limb and liner drier. The Knit-Rite Liner-Liner Sock (two included) acts as a moisture-wicking barrier, absorbing sweat and reducing friction inside your prosthetic socket for enhanced comfort. To further protect your skin, the Amputee Essentials Chafe Barrier Cream creates a protective layer that prevents irritation and skin breakdown, ensuring all-day relief. The Amputee Essentials Prosthetic Moisturizer hydrates and nourishes your skin without a greasy residue, promoting long-term skin health.

How-to Use the Ultimate Sweat Control Bundle
Sweating can occur for many reasons, from a loose socket to simply a hot day. To get the best results from this bundle, follow these simple steps:
Nighttime Prep:
It's recommended to shower or bathe at night to reduce inflammation and sweating.
Afterwards, apply Alps Antiperspirant Spray. This helps reduce sweating at the source and allows enough time overnight for the formula to begin working.
Once your Antiperspirant is dry, apply the Ultra-Rich Moisturizer to keep your skin healthy and hydrated, as sweating has a tendency to dehydrate your skin.
Morning Routine:
In the morning, apply another layer of Alps Antiperspirant Spray
Let It Dry: Give the antiperspirant time to dry and fully absorb into your skin before moving on to the next step.
Add Protection: Apply Amputee Essentials Chafe Barrier Cream to any areas prone to friction or repeated irritation.
Layer Up: Once all skin care is applied, put on your Knit-Rite Liner-Liner Sock before applying your prosthetic socks or prosthetic liner for maximum moisture wicking and comfort.
Store your skin care products in a cool dry place. These products expire 12 months after opening. All Chafe Barrier Cream and Ultra-Rich Moisturizer ingredients are clinically proven safe and effective. When using the Chafe Barrier Cream you will notice that this product will create a thin layer on the surface of your skin, while also supporting those trouble areas to fortify your skin’s natural friction fighting defenses.
To maintain optimal performance and longevity of your Sweat Control Bundle, follow these guidelines: For the Knit-Rite Liner-Liner Sock, wear a clean sock daily, pre-spot in cool water if needed, and machine wash in cool water, air dry using warm water and all-purpose detergent without bleach, ensuring thorough rinsing. Store the Alps Antiperspirant Spray in a cool, dry place when not in use. For the Amputee Essentials Chafe Barrier Cream, apply a light, uniform amount directly onto your residual limb before donning your prosthetic limb, and store the cream in a cool, dry place. Similarly, keep the Amputee Essentials Prosthetic Moisturizer in a cool, dry environment to preserve its quality.
Precautions
For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes. If condition worsens or does not improve within 7 days, consult a physician. Do not use on puncture wounds, open sores or mucous membranes.
