Amputee Essentials Calibrate Gel Squares are 4 x 4 inch gel squares made from mineral oil gel and used by amputees who are trying to find relief from specific trouble spots within their prosthetic socket. If you experienced a traumatic amputation resulting in scarring and/or hyper-sensitive skin grafts you should really consider these gel squares.
The Calibrate Gel Squares are 4 x 4 inches and can be cut to shape with a scissors and placed along affected areas of your limb. After applying these gel squares inside your prosthesis or directly onto your skin, you can expect the gel to release medical grade mineral oil intended to moisturize, soften and protect your skin. The mineral oil formula is also indicated for those amputees managing diabetes. If you require very targeted relief you may want to also consider a Silipos Gel Dot or use a Calibrate Body Disc to manage socket rubbing issues.
