When measuring your thigh, pay special attention to how tight you take your measurement. It's best to pull the ends of your tape measure somewhat tight and then release. Your goal is to find a middle ground of how much tension you should apply to your measuring tape. Too tight and too loose will both result in a poorly fitting prosthetic sleeve.

Thermo-Ply Relax Gel, Thermoplastic Gel (TPE).
Thermo-Ply strongly recommends that the Encore Meridian prosthetic sleeves be laundered after 8 - 16 hours of wear, and allowed to dry completely before applying to the prosthesis. Machine wash, No bleach or solvents, Delicate cycle, Air Dry Thoroughly.
Weekly: Place a small amount of rubbing alcohol on a soft, clean cloth. Do not soak the Encore Meridian Sleeve in alcohol. Wipe the sleeve with a the cloth thoroughly, wipe dry with a towel. To remove a stain on the fabric side, use a cloth dampened in nail polish remover and rub until clean. Do NOT soak in nail polish or you will dissolve the gel!
Meridian Knee sleeves should not be worn on injured skin. Keep your prosthetic sleeve out of reach of children for risk of suffocation. Patients with severe diabetes or blood circulation problems have to contact a physician before using a knee sleeve.
