Prosthetic Spectra socks are designed to protect your carbon prosthetic foot investment. Spectra is a tough material that prevents the toe and heel carbon blades of your prosthetic foot from rubbing against themselves and causing premature wear. This special prosthetic sock is only intended for prosthetic feet that have removable foot shells. The Spectra Sock for prosthetic feet sits in-between your foot shell and prosthetic foot.

Requires a prosthetic foot shell removal tool that looks like a large metal shoe horn. Carefully place your removal tool inside the heel area of the foot shell and hook underneath the carbon heel. Apply pressure onto the toe and pull the removal tool down. **Warning, extra care is required to prevent splintering of the carbon prosthetic foot heel.**
Once your prosthetic footshell slides off, replace your spectra sock and re-apply your foot shell. Make sure the prosthetic toe is all the way down inside the footshell and then apply pressure onto the heel. You should feel a "snap" as the carbon heel seats underneath a rubber lip inside the footshell.
Warning! Extra care is required to prevent splintering of the carbon prosthetic foot heel. Numerous unsuccessful attempts to remove your footshell can damage your expensive carbon foot. We are not responsible for damage caused to your prosthetic foot.
